Enviro Station - Outdoor Air Quality Monitor
Outdoor Air Quality Monitor and Environmental Monitoring Station
The Clear The Air Enviro Station (CTA-ES) is a professional outdoor air quality monitor and multi-sensor environmental monitoring station designed for smart cities, construction sites, industrial facilities and environmental compliance applications. Measuring ten environmental parameters simultaneously, it delivers comprehensive real-time data on air pollution, weather conditions and environmental changes from a single ruggedised outdoor unit.
What It Monitors
PM2.5 and PM10. Fine and coarse particulate matter from 0 to 1,000 μg/m³. Critical for construction site COSHH compliance, urban air quality monitoring and public health reporting.
NO₂ (Nitrogen Dioxide). From 0 to 20ppm. A key indicator of traffic pollution and industrial emissions, monitored for environmental compliance and smart city applications.
SO₂ (Sulphur Dioxide). From 0 to 100ppm. Industrial emissions monitoring for environmental permit compliance.
CO (Carbon Monoxide). From 0 to 1,000ppm. Outdoor carbon monoxide monitoring for construction sites, industrial facilities and urban environments.
O₃ (Ozone). From 0 to 20ppm. Ground-level ozone monitoring for environmental reporting and public health applications.
Noise. From 30 to 130dB for environmental noise monitoring in construction, industrial and urban settings.
Wind Speed. From 0 to 75 m/s for weather analysis and environmental impact assessment.
Atmospheric Pressure. From 10 to 1,300 hPa.
Humidity. From 0 to 100%.
Rainfall. From 0 to 5mm per minute.
Who Needs It
Construction Sites. HSE and local authority requirements for dust and air quality monitoring on construction sites are increasingly stringent. It monitors PM2.5, PM10, NO₂ and CO in real time, providing automatic alerts when levels breach compliance thresholds and exportable reports for regulatory submission.
Smart Cities and Local Authorities. Urban air quality monitoring networks require reliable, low-maintenance outdoor sensors capable of measuring multiple pollutants simultaneously. It provides the data local authorities need to understand pollution sources, identify hotspots and demonstrate compliance with UK and EU air quality standards.
Industrial Facilities and Environmental Compliance. Factories, processing plants and industrial sites operating under environmental permits require continuous emissions monitoring. The unit monitors NO₂, SO₂, CO and O₃ simultaneously with data transmitted directly to the Clear The Air platform for real-time compliance reporting.
Environmental Research and Monitoring Networks. Universities, research institutions and environmental agencies use it to build outdoor monitoring networks that track long-term environmental trends and support evidence-based policy decisions.
Why Choose the CTA-ES
Industrial-grade sensors across ten parameters. Most outdoor monitoring solutions require multiple separate units to cover particulates, gases, noise and weather. The CTA-ES replaces all of them — PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₃, noise, wind speed, atmospheric pressure and rainfall monitored simultaneously from a single station with industrial-grade accuracy. Fewer units, lower installation costs, one platform.
Built for permanent outdoor deployment. IP65 rated enclosure operating from -50°C to +80°C — designed for years of continuous operation in all weather conditions without maintenance.
Flexible power options. Runs on 9-30 VDC, optional solar power or mains supply — suitable for remote sites with no mains infrastructure.
4G and 2G connectivity. Reliable data transmission from any location with mobile signal coverage.
Compact and robust. At 140 x 140 x 350mm with a 3.5m cable, it installs on standard mounting poles and structures without specialist equipment.
Full platform access via the Clear The Air web platform and mobile app. Real-time data, custom threshold alerts, historical trending and exportable compliance reports for HSE, Environment Agency, local authority and EU regulatory submissions.
RS485 and RS232 interfaces for integration with existing environmental monitoring systems, SCADA platforms and third party software.
