What's the air like inside your classrooms?
Outdoor data is just the start. Indoor PM2.5 can be significantly higher. Find out what your children are actually breathing.
Poor indoor air quality in schools is a silent issue. The government-backed SAMHE project monitored indoor air quality across more than 1,300 UK schools and found widespread ventilation failures, with CO2 levels regularly exceeding recommended limits. Most schools have no continuous indoor air quality monitoring in place. This tool uses DEFRA's 1km-resolution PM2.5 grid to show the outdoor pollution exposure at your child's specific school, then converts it into cigarette equivalents so the numbers actually land.
